“David has been the most superior holistic manual physical therapist that I have encountered in my 15 month and ongoing recovery, a period in which I’ve seen 10 other therapists. I have experienced a series of injuries including a torn hamstring, hip issues, back pain, a torn shoulder, multiple muscle strains, tmj and so forth due in part by inadequate physical therapy for 5 months. These issues collectively beat my body and reduced me to sitting in a wheel chair, which is when I found David. After months of hard work, in which I certainly was a handful in terms of being a vocal patient and presenting with multiple injuries, I was able to progress to independent functionality under the guidance and proper care of Dr. David who ensured that my body was biomechanically optimal for efficient strengthening. His skill, receptiveness, and accessibility are a gem in the mess that is our healthcare system. If you want your body to function as it should, go see Dr. David! I guarantee you won’t regret it”
“So I was having major pain on my foot for a couple months. I was thinking I must have messed it up while running but the pain didn’t go away I was thinking it was a fallen arch so I was looking into places to help me get better. My uncle recommend El Paso Manual Physical Therapy. I messaged the doctor and he told me he was having an evaluation and to come so he can see the problem. So I went and right away Doctor David was so professional and he knows his stuff. He saw me walking and right away he saw that my right side was the problem area he then told me that it wasn’t my foot but my lower back giving me problems. So we had set up my appointments and on the first day he told me that I have a pinch nerve from my lower back that connects to my hip and foot that is why I was feeling excruciating pain. Because of his expertise’s he pin pointed the problem and showed me how to strengthen myself after four visits I feel so much better the pain I once felt is gone. I highly recommend Dr. David to anyone having issues with their back and foot.”
“Everything is very well explained, from how the physical therapy treatments will help you to doing home exercise on your own. I noticed my pain slowly diminishing once the treatments started. David is excellent on treating patients carefully and in a caring matter. Always felt comfortable and felt my healing process improving. Highly recommended!”
“David is great at what he does! I recently had a rotator cuff repair with a biceps tendonesis and he smoothly got me back to recovery. I couldn’t be happier with my results. I loved going once every 2-6 weeks with detailed instructions and links to videos about what to do at home. He listened to all my concerns, remembers everything about me and my body and always had an answer. I’m a Physcian and now refer anyone with PT needs to him cause I know he’ll do a great job.”
“Great PT with excellent hands on and communication skills.”
“Dr. Middaugh is like no other Physical Therapist I’ve worked with! He understands how the body moves and how to correct muscle imbalances that are causing injury/pain. As an athlete, it was important that the therapist I work with understand the movements I perform on a daily basis and help me correct any deficits to prevent further injury. Dr. Middaugh did just that ! He was so helpful and patient!”
“I injured myself and had a nagging back and hip pain that was keeping me from being 100%. I visited the doctor and all they wanted to do was give me an injection for pain. I said no and wanted a referral for physical therapy instead. Dr. Middaugh found out the underlying cause to why I was hurting. All his treatments has really helped me reach 100% and fix my hip. Highly recommended him for any pain you have!”
“I’m an athlete and active lifestyle individual, amidst my daily routine my hip begun hurting terribly and I could not figure out why. After visiting Dr. David Middaugh I learned I’d developed a muscular imbalance that was the cause of my issue. The service was great, he is quick to reply and schedule you as soon as possible. In addition he guided me through various exercises I would need to do in order to improve my condition shortly after applying chiropractic maneuvers on my lumbar spine. More than anything I’m happy to be back at lifting and thankful for Dr. Middaugh’s services.”
“I’ve been having hip & shoulder pain. I’ve been working with David at El Paso Manual Physical Therapy & after just two weeks I’m already feeling better! I definitely have some more work to do but I’m already having less pain. Personalized, friendly & professional. David is a dream to work with. I’m looking forward to being pain free. Thank you EPMPT!”
“I had bad plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis. David helped me correct both in a very short time and gave me the tools to remain symptom free in the future. I have had almost no pain in months and am extremely active almost every day. Thank you David!”
“EPMPT has been a lifesaver! My husband and I have been stuck with some pain for years thinking it was just something we would have to work with for the rest of our lives. We love our chiropractor but the relief was only temporary. Once we started with EPMPT, our pain actually started to subside. They’ve taught us how to counter our pain and strengthen the areas that have been causing the pain. I would highly recommend using them for permanent betterment and change in your life!”
“I have never been at a physiotherapist before, but if i had, i wouldn’t doubt that this would be the best of the visits. David was very professional, and i am sure that he knew his stuff 100%. I had a broken foot, and he helped me with exercises, so i hopefully soon can walk again.”
“I was having low back/hip pain for about 4 months and was unable to deadlift, squat or even bench press without pain. Trying to compete in strongman or powerlifting became impossible so I went ahead and sought out the services of El Paso Manual Therapy. Dr. David is extremely thorough with his examinations and provided explanation for everything that he did. He provided home exercises and made himself available for questions even after appointments. I had a decrease in pain right after I started receiving his services and I am now working back to regular powerlifting with his help. Before seeing him I was frustrated and discouraged and now I am positive I will get back to the sport I love.”
“I have had chronic neck & back pain for years due to car accidents. I have had many different types of treatments always preferring to stay as natural as possible. The treatments would help but the pain would return. I love to work out & my work as a Licensed Massage Therapist is physical. It had gotten to the point where I questioned whether I was doing the right kind of workouts to help me stay strong & pain free. I started seeing Dr. David for a series of treatments a year ago. After the 1st treatment I started to feel better. I love that Dr. David gives us exercises for us to do on our own so we are know what to do to get stronger. After a few treatments I was pain free!! I felt confident in my workouts again & strong enough to feel good about working! I only need to see Dr David occasionally now. What a huge blessing!!”
“As an athlete, having a physical therapist that understands your sport is critical. I have two herniated lumbar discs that gave me “sciatica” symptoms. This prevented me from training and competing in a strength sport called powerlifting for quite some time. I saw a couple of doctors and they all gave me treatments that alleviated the pain, but none that addressed the root of the problem. Dr. Middaugh did a thorough evaluation and gave me the run down on what was going on: why I was in pain, what caused the injury, what to do to treat it, how to prevent it from happening again, and a timeline on when I should be back to lifting and training the way I was before getting injured. Most doctors will tell you to stop lifting, but a good PT such as Dr. Middaugh can help you find a way to work around the pain (without aggravating the injury) in your training while you rehabilitate. I am forever indebted to Dr. Middaugh and I highly recommend his services to anyone looking for comprehensive, one-on-one physical therapy.”
“I had been experiencing pain since mid-2016. I went to visit my doctor and was given pain meds and had an x-ray nothing was found. The doctor just associated my pain with stress so he sent me home and told me to try to relax. My pain got worse I went back and I was given stronger pain meds. I didn’t just want to be on pain meds without knowing what was wrong with me. I had an MRI done and was given more pain meds but not an answer to what was going on. I consider myself a healthy active person and I was no longer able to enjoy the things I did on a daily basis such as running and exercising. The pain took over my daily routine. I luckily came across a video from EP Manual and decided to try it. At this point, I had nothing to lose and was already thinking the pain was something I had to learn to live with that it was a part of me now. I had my first visit and immediately felt some relief. After about my third visit my neck pain was pretty much non-existent. I am so satisfied with the results and just wish I would have come to EP Manual sooner.”
“I recently finished a 7-month physical therapy treatment with another therapist. Following that treatment, I still had serious pain in my shoulder. I visited David, and after 2 hours of a thorough body assessment, he immediately found a serious issue that my previous physical therapist had missed (weak upper trap muscles). His recommended exercises have relieved my pain, and strengthened my muscles to prevent continued pain.”
“I began physical therapy for my knee with Dr. David Middaugh & have been pleased with his care & thoroughness, and that it immediately helped relieve some pain. He was very careful in how he treated me & fully explained my condition & the treatment before doing anything. He also gave me some helpful home exercises which have helped me very much.”
“I recently injured my neck and after two visits, Dr. David Middaugh was able to restore my range of motion. He taught me exercises that I needed to do as well. I was impressed by his thorough evaluation and professionalism. As a nurse practitioner, I feel very comfortable recommending him to my patients!”
“I can’t emphasize how much better I feel and greater range of motion- thanks!!!!!”
“If anyone ever needs any kind of physical therapy, I HIGHLY recommend David Middaugh. He not only has helped me recover from an injury, he’s also helped me understand exactly what was wrong to prevent it from happening again. He’s very thorough and informative. Best part is that he comes to your home on your time.”
“Dr. David Middaugh was able to get me back to where I needed to be within a couple of weeks. His expert advice and great therapy sessions allowed me to feel relief in no time. The fact that he will go to you and work around your schedule is just another reason why I would highly recommend anyone needing therapy to giving him a call, you won’t be disappointed.”
“My pain has subsided substantially but most importantly the need to take pain medication has decreased substantially. I am able to move more freely and to sleep soundly.”
“Dr David is simply the best! I had suffered pain from my lower back since last year and now I am pain free thanks to Dr. Middaugh’s treatment plan. His professionalism is outstanding. Very happy with his service!”
