Why does sciatica come and go?
Why does sciatica come and go? Well, sciatica is usually more than one problem combined happening at the same time. And that’s what sets up the nerve irritation that is sciatica, there might be a disc problem in the back some sort of spine issue that’s irritating the nerve, that nerve bundles together and it comes to this notch right here.
And it’s possible that this pelvis bone has shifted or moved in some way and the edges of the bone and the big ligament that closes this notch right here to make a hole can also compress her Pinson nerve.
And it could be a hip issue, there’s muscles in this area that could also indirectly irritate the nerve, plus that nerve goes all the way down into the thigh into the knee all the way down to the foot, the heel the toes, any structure along that pathway could also irritate the sciatic nerve, it may come down to postures that you’re in activities that you’re doing, all of these things can come together at the same time to create a sciatica problem.
Now, the reason why I bring that up is because depending on what activities you’re doing, depending on if this problem got better today, but now this one’s bothering you, this can give you the sensation that sciatica is better today, so it’s gone.
But then it comes back tomorrow, because you sat a lot longer and irritated the nerve here or you were more active than usual and irritated the lower back for the foot.
There’s a lot of different things that could impact the pain that you’re getting with sciatica. Now generally as you rest or do relative wrestling, you reduce your activity, you might still be active, but not as much that irritation in the nerve. And other structures like joints can get irritated as part of sciatica, that irritation will reduce, and it’ll allow you to feel better.
But if you don’t address the problem completely, if there’s still a shifted bone or muscle imbalances that are causing problems in the discs, in the spine or in the hip, then you might have a low level of irritation.
That if you were to become more active or say you go walk for longer periods of time or you start to do exercise, or you lift up something heavy, it could irritate the sciatic nerve and send the pain up again and that’s when you have a situation where it comes back.
So the solution to this is to be sure to address the root problems which are usually imbalances muscle imbalances that cause the bones to shift or the spine to not move properly and irritate the nerves up here.
There could also be knee and foot problems that are irritating the nerve away from the middle of the body but causing problems up in the thigh. Check out our playlist in the description below.
